What’s next in your career?

Uses your own words · Never makes things up

01 — The problem

Too many things you could do. Not enough clarity.

Looking for a job feels endless. Every day you could fix your resume, change it for another job, apply somewhere new, follow up from last week, get ready for an interview, or pick up a new skill. It’s a lot. Most people freeze up.

Without a coach
  • Fix my resume?
  • Rewrite it for that senior manager job?
  • Message people I know?
  • Practice for tomorrow’s interview?
  • Learn a new skill first?
  • Just apply to more jobs?

All good ideas. None picked. Nothing gets done.

With your coach

I’m pretty sure  you should apply to the senior manager job today.

The job matches what you’re best at. What’s missing isn’t worth another rewrite. Send it.

One clear next step — based only on what the coach knows about you.

02 — What it knows

The coach knows your work.

Every suggestion comes from what you’ve actually shown the coach — not from the same tips everyone else gets.

Your resumes

Every version you've saved — your main one, plus any you've changed for specific jobs.

The job you want

The full job posting you're going for, kept word-for-word.

How well you fit

A check on how your resume matches each thing the job asks for.

What's missing

Things the job wants that your resume doesn't show — pointed out, never made up.

Rewrites you kept

Every line you've said yes to, saved so you can go back to it any time.

This conversation

What you've asked, what the coach suggested, and how you replied.

03 — How it works

The coach helps you finish the work.

Once the coach knows you a bit, every suggestion comes with a next step you can do in one tap.

Look over my resume

The coach reads it and tells you which part is holding you back.

Rewrite it for this job

Match your resume to a specific job. Real quotes, real gaps.

Fix this line

Turn one weak line into something specific and honest.

Keep the better version

One tap makes a rewrite your new main resume.

Explain this suggestion

Every reason quotes something from your resume or the job.

Tell me what to do next

The coach picks one thing to do — never five you can't choose between.

04 — Honest

Only uses what’s on your resume. What’s missing stays missing.

Every piece of advice comes with a direct quote from your resume or the job. If the job wants something you don’t have, the coach tells you plainly — it never pretends you have a skill you can’t back up in an interview.

What we do
  • Show you your own words
  • Tell you what’s missing, so you can decide
  • Save every change you keep as its own version
What we never do
  • Add skills your resume doesn’t show
  • Round up your years of experience
  • Delete your old versions when you make a change
05 — It remembers

Your coach remembers.

The best part isn’t the AI — it’s that it doesn’t start over every time. Open the coach next week and pick up exactly where you left off.

  • Past chats — every one is in the sidebar, ready to open.
  • Saved resume versions — you can always see which change made which one.
  • Changes you kept — your main resume never changes unless you want it to.
  • The job you’re going for — you don’t have to paste it in again next time.
  • Things you didn’t finish — the coach picks up where you left off.
The coach on your next visit

“Welcome back. You were working on the Senior Marketing Manager role at Warby Parker. The biggest gap left is measurable campaign results. The one thing I’d do next is use the stronger version of your Horizon Media bullet and save it.”

Every sentence comes from something you’ve already shown the coach. No same-old intro every time.

06 — Starter templates

Start from a template if you don't have a resume yet.

Only if you need one. If you already have a resume, paste or upload it — the coach starts there. If you don’t, pick a starter and edit it right in your browser.

08 — Questions

Frequently asked.

It can make and change resumes, but that's not the main thing. MicroTools is a Career Coach that uses your resume to help you. Making a resume, changing it for a specific job, and rewriting parts of it are things the coach does when they'll help — not the whole product.

No. You can paste one in, upload one, or start from a template. The more the coach knows about you, the more useful it gets — so adding your real resume is the first thing it will ask for.

Only what you've shown it: your saved resumes, the job you're going for, any rewrites you've tried and how they turned out, changes you said yes to, and the current chat. Nothing made up, nothing taken from anywhere else.

No. Every suggestion has to quote something in your resume or the job posting. If the coach can't back it up from what you've actually shown, it tells you what's missing — it never invents something to fill the gap.

Yes — and the coach writes down why. Every time you push back, it gets better at advising you. A coach that can never be wrong isn't really a coach.

Yes. Every version of your resume is saved for good, and you can always see which change made which version. Your main resume never gets replaced unless you say so.

Yes. You can rewrite a resume for a specific job without signing up. Sign in when you want the coach to remember it and pick up next time.

Stop deciding what to work on. Ask your coach.

Your first chat takes two minutes. You walk away with one clear thing to do — not a long to-do list.
